Healthy Environment, Strong Communities, Accountable Government

The Neighborhood Network is presenting, for the fourth year in a row, the 4 Steps to a Toxic-Free Lawn educational forums.

It is possible to have a lush, green, healthy lawn
and trees without the use of pesticides that
may be harmful to your family's health.

Whether you are a Do-It-Yourselfer or you hire a landscaper,
come to any one of these free forums which will:

  • lay out simple steps for an organic maintenance program -- this 120 color-slide presentation will introduce you to many different products, and illustrate organic techniques;
  • show you why "feeding the soil" helps your lawn build up natural defenses to resist disease, weeds, and insect pests;
  • provide you with a resource directory that includes:
    • Instructional, "how-to" information on using the latest products
    • a list of L.I. retail stores that carry organic lawn care products
    • a list of L.I. organic landscapers -- & a local organic landscaper will attend each event

If your organization would like to co-sponsor an organic lawn educational forum, call the Neighborhood Network at 631-963-5454.
