The Neighborhood Network will remain a strong advocate on Long Island for environmental stewardship. The Neighborhood Network remains dedicated to reclaiming the suburban and rural character of community life on Long Island by preserving our environmental resources; initiating efforts to employ clean energy technologies; advancing planning principles that foster stronger communities and smart growth; and by holding our governmental officials accountable.

For 2009, the Neighborhood Network has an ambitious Agenda of legislative and other public policy initiatives. Specific proposals shall be announced shortly.
