This directory will show you the many alternatives to pesticides that are available. It is designed to push the market towards organics by encouraging Long Islanders to use their consumer power by choosing organic alternatives. This is the only publication of its kind known to exist in the country. It includes lists of organic landscapers, recommended retailers that sell organic products, mail order catalogues, books, magazines, websites, and paid advertisers that provide additional information about maintaining one's home and yard without the use of toxic chemical pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.

The 2004 edition is now available. It is being mailed to members of the Neighborhood Network, free of charge. If you are not a member, to get a single copy, fill out this online order form. (Suggested donation to cover printing and mailing costs $4.00)
