Long Island Energy and Environment Roundtable

Local, Statewide and National Environmental Organizations Working Cooperatively on Energy Issues that are Vital to Long Island.

The Neighborhood Network has organized the Energy and Environment Roundtable, a coalition of the 10 most credible environmental groups working on energy issues on Long Island. This alliance was formed in order to create a forum for local and statewide environmental organizations to more effectively work with decision-makers in advancing a unified agenda on energy policy issues. The Roundtable is a unique approach to cooperation among environmental groups on Long Island, modeled on business associations. It gives a unified structure to environmental concerns around energy production and use on Long Island, elevating their significance in the eyes of elected officials.
